Experience the World’s largest AR Gallery

A digital native in Britain spends around 22 hours indoors. That’s almost 90% of the day! With new technological manifestations and the internet of things, they’re losing touch with reality more than ever, living almost entirely in a virtual bubble. But our bodies de-pend on the resources outside to develop and nourish it.

As a species, we need to get out more so BBC created the London GallARy – An interactive AR tab in the BBC app which turns the City of London into the world’s largest AR Gallery.  Imagine walking on the streets of London looking at the Big Ben. Simply open up the GallARy tab in the BBC app and point it at the tower to unroll a feed of content – news, facts, history, event details and more. Clicking on the preview opens up related article links from BBC’s library, where you can dig in further. By doing this, we improve the everyday behaviours of digital natives through bespoke offerings tied to their online and digital behaviours.
